In collaboration with Snugpak, the Platatac Badger Insulated Hoody is a feature-packed and versatile insulator combining lightweight, warm and breathable fabrics into a premier choice garment that compresses down, and is easily stowed away until required; it should be the mainstay of everybody’s cold weather gear.

The Badger Insulated Hoody provides superior warmth for weight, through its tri-layered construction, with a Paratex Micro outer shell, a breathable, highly windproof and durable water repellent (DWR) fabric that sheds water and is fast drying. The fill is Softie Premier which has excellent insulating properties, trapping heat and maximising comfort. Internally against the body is the TS1 fleece lining which adds another layer of warmth and comfort, is breathable and transfers moisture during activity.

The face fabric of the Multicam version is Epsilon fabric, which has a Nanosphere DWR treatment for superior wind and water repellency.

Additional features include a drop tail hem, high neck design to keep out the draughts, a permanent, adjustable, insulated hood for extra warmth around the head, neck and face making this jacket perfect for donning as a stand-alone layer, when the mercury drops in variable weather, or paired with a shell jacket in colder/wet conditions.

When measuring your chest, measure around the fullest part, place the tape close under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back.

(A) The length from the back of the neck to hem.

(B) From the centre of the back of the neck, across the shoulder to the sleeve.

(C) The width of the jacket at the underarm, when laid flat.
